Stephen Ellmann

Stephen Ellmann is a Professor of Law, and Director of the Office of Clinical and Experiential Learning, at New York Law School. He has been studying and writing about South African law since the 1980s, and is the author of In a Time of Trouble: Law and Liberty in South Africa’s State of Emergency (1992) and co-editor, with Penelope Andrews, of The Post-Apartheid Constitutions: Perspectives on South Africa’s Basic Law (2001).
