Dr Shirleene Robinson is a Lecturer in Australian History at Bond University. She has previously taught at the University of Wales (Lampeter) as an Australian Studies Fellow and has also been a Visiting Fellow at a number of Chinese universities, including the University of Inner Mongolia in Hohhot.
She has a PhD in History from the University of Queensland. Her publications include Something like slavery? Queensland’s Aboriginal child workers (Australian Scholarly Publishing) and a number of articles which have been published in journals including Aboriginal History, Labour History and the Journal of Australian Colonial History.
