Sarah Wendt

Dr Sarah Wendt is a Lecturer from the University of South Australia, School of Psychology, Social Work and Social Policy.

Sarah has a social work background and has worked in the field of violence against women as a practitioner for 5 years. She has been researching violence against women for a decade and is currently involved in research projects that focus on domestic violence in rural communities, abuse of older people, and impacts of family law on family violence.

Dr Wendt also teaches social work theory to undergraduate and masters students and has recently engaged in research that focuses on what personally sustains and motivates social workers to continue working in high demanding fields of practice.
