Russell Grove has held the position of Clerk of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly since 1990. Russell joined the Parliamentary Service in 1971 and has served as a Table Office since 1981. Russell has extensive experience in all areas of parliamentary procedure and practice and is well versed in issues surrounding parliamentary law and administration. Russell was awarded the Public Service Medal in 2000 for his services to the Legislative Assembly.
Russell is also a recognised leader in the promotion of parliamentary democracy and has delivered numerous papers to conferences and seminars on subjects related to democratic government, parliament and the training of parliamentary staff.
