Rosemary Kennedy is a registered psychologist also admitted as a practitioner of the Supreme Court of South Australia and a Senior Lecturer at the University of South Australia.
She has several years experience working as a psychlogist in child and adult mental health services, in disability, and in the management of institutions for children at risk and young offenders. She has many more years experience in higher education, teaching and researching in the areas of counselling, social work, and law.
Her teaching, consultancy and research interests cover a number of issues relevant to work in the human services including employment patterns, professional education, legal aspects of human service practice, and malpractice.
She is particularly interested in teaching and communicating about law to non-lawyers who require legal literacy in their practice. Her other and related area of interest is approaches to and models of effective human service delivery. She has co authored and authored books on case management and law and the human services, and is currently writing on malpractice in the human services.
