Richard Fox is an Emeritus Professor of Law in the Faculty of Law at Monash University. A law teacher of over 35 years experience and a former Associate Dean (Student Affairs) at Monash Law School and teacher of first year law students he is well placed to write about the skills students need to develop in relation to legal writing and examination technique.
He has taught in Australian, Canadian and United States Law Schools and is a recipient of the Monash University, Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Distinguished Teaching.
His teaching interests are in Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Sentencing. In 2008 he was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia ‘F0r service to the law and legal education’.
