Marie Hadley is an admitted lawyer and PhD candidate in law at the University of New South Wales. She completed her Practical Legal Training at the New South Wales Coroners Court in 2012. Marie’s research interests lie at the intersection of law, sociology, cultural studies, and anthropology, and she has previously published research on Indigenous imagery and copyright law in Australia and Canada. Marie enjoys teaching tertiary law students and is currently a sessional academic at Macquarie University. She has taught contract law, legal research, intellectual property and ethics at universities such as UNSW, Macquarie University and Flinders University.
