Dr Dot Goulding is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Prisons Research Unit, Centre for Social & Community Research, Murdoch University. She was instrumental in setting up and running the Prisons Research Unit.
Dot’s background is in justice activism, prisoner advocacy and prison reform. She has been an Independent Prison Visitor at Bandyup Women’s Prison and Casuarina Prison on behalf of the Office of the Inspector of Custodial Services WA. Dot is also a spokesperson for the Prison Reform Group of WA and is Secretary of the Institute for Restorative Justice & Penal Reform (WA Inc).
