Harvey T. Strosberg, Q.C. and Irwin Law Inc. are very pleased to announce that this year’s winner of the Harvey T. Strosberg Essay Prize for the best student essay on Class Actions in Canada is Chris Dafoe.
Chris Dafoe, a graduate of the University of British Columbia Faculty of Law, is currently clerking at the B.C. Supreme Court. His paper, “A Path Through The Class Action Chaos: Selecting the Most Appropriate Jurisdiction with a National Class Action Panel” will appear in Volume 3, Issue 2, of the Canadian Class Action Review. Mr. Dafoe will also receive a prize of $10,000.
