Peter DeFreitas

Counsel, Department of Justice, Ontario Regional Office. Graduate of the University of Western Ontario Law School. Joined the Department of Justice in 1994 as counsel in the Prosecution Section. From 1994 to the present, has prosecuted offences under the Narcotics Control Act, the Income Tax Act, the Criminal Code and argued appeals in the Ontario Court of Appeal. He has published a number of articles on criminal law topics and lectured at prosecutors seminars and training seminars for investigative agencies.
