Rachel Locker McKee

Rachel Locker McKee is Program Director of Deaf Studies in the School of Linguistics and Applied Language Studies at Victoria University of Wellington. She has worked extensively as a sign language interpreter in both New Zealand and the USA, and established university training programs for interpreters and for Deaf teachers of NZ Sign Language (NZSL). Her publications have focused on analysis of sign language interpreting, linguistic description of NZSL, and the New Zealand Deaf community.
