Mehreen Faruqi

Mehreen Faruqi is Manager Environment and Services at Mosman Council and Visiting Fellow at the University of New South Wales. Mehreen is a Civil engineer with 20 years experience in sustainability and environmental management. She has worked as a lecturer and researcher at the University of NSW, with multinational and local consulting firms (SKM, ERM and Storm Consulting) and local government. Her research interests and areas of expertise include integrated water management, catchment management, organisational change and capacity building, education for sustainability, sustainability planning and reporting and public participation in environmental decision-making. Mehreen has chaired and been a member of a number of panels and committees on sustainability, hazardous waste and stormwater management for industry, local and state government.
