Nicole LaViolette
Nicole LaViolette is Associate Professor of Law at the University of Ottawa where she teaches public international law, international humanitarian law, conflicts of laws, and family law. Her research is devoted mainly to international human rights, international humanitarian law, and the rights of refugees. She has authored several articles and studies relating to refugee law, war crimes, international human rights, and the rights of sexual minorities. She has several years of experience working as a legislative assistant in the House of Commons of Canada and she has worked extensively with both governmental and non-governmental organizations specializing in human rights. She is a graduate of the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law and Carleton University. She was a law clerk at the Federal Court of Appeal of Canada before completing a graduate degree at Cambridge University in 1998.| Your shopping cart is empty. |
