Anna Doukakis

Anna Doukakis completed a Bachelor of Arts with First Class Honours in History at the University of New South Wales in 2003. She has been awarded an Arts and Social Science Scholarship, an Alumni Association Scholarship, the History Prize, the inaugural Ian Black Prize for Asian History, and the Frank Crowley Australian History Prize. Her current research interests are modern Southeast Asian gender and political history; Aboriginal history in Sydney during the nineteenth century, and the role of law and government in the shaping of history. She is a member of the executive committee of the Australian Historical Association.
