Beverley Tait

Beverley was a Court Reporter with the Commonwealth Reporting Service from 1974 to 1990 and still reports a variety of hearings and inquiries on a freelance basis. She weathered the changes from writing Pitman's shorthand with an old-fashioned fountain pen, to the modern wonders of Digital Recording and Voice Recognition Technology. Through it all, her sense of the absurd gave her plenty to laugh at in the formal, fusty atmosphere of the courtroom.
