Luke McNamara

Dr. McNamara holds a BA and an LLB from the University of New South Wales, an LLM from the University of Manitoba, and a PhD from Wollongong University. He is a legal adviser to the New South Wales Paliament's Legislation Review Committee and a member of the New South Wales Attorney General's Working Party on Serious Villification. His research interests include human rights, criminal law, justice administration, and cultural diversity and the law. In 2005 he received a Canadian Studies Faculty Research Award to carry out a study of legal responses to demands for the recognition of same-sex relationships.
