Ysaiah Ross

Ross formerly taught at the University of NSW and at numerous overseas universities (ie UCLA, Boston College, Warick University, Makerere University (Uganda) Papua/New Guinea, Auckland University).

Adviser to Attorney-General Uganda, Law Reform Commission, PNG; Member of the Professional Conduct Committee of the NSW Bar Association; Barrister and Member of the California Bar; author or co-author of 13 books, primarily on legal ethics, but also on politics, jokes, and income tax.

Ross wrote columns for legal affairs section of the Australian Financial Review for 3 years; the Law Institute Journal of Victoria for 3 years; the Australian Lawyer for 1 year. He retired in November 1999 but still teaches part-time. He is writing his 4th edition of Ethics in Law and giving legal ethics advice as a barrister.
