Harvey T. Strosberg, Q.C. and Irwin Law Inc. are pleased to announce that the winner of the 2011 Harvey T. Strosberg Essay Prize  for the best student essay on Class Actions in Canada is Joshua Ginsberg.

Mr. Ginsberg is graduating this month with a JD from the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law. He will then be articling at the Toronto office of McCarthy Tétrault LLP. His prize-winning paper, “After the Windfall: Representation of Class Members in Individual Issues Adjudication”  will appear in Volume 7, Issue 2 of the Canadian Class Action Review  . He will also receive a prize of $10, 000.
